TIBIAO

Tibiao is an municipality located in the northern part of Antique. the municipality is 75 kilometers north of San Jose Buenavista the capital town of antique.It composed of 21 barangays and 1 river. Tibiao named in the tall grass called "tigbao". The municipality has a total land area of 17,772.1119 hectares.It buonded by the municipality of Barbaza and on the north by the municipality of culasi; on the west by Cuyo; on the east by the muontains range of Aklan and Capiz and east pass of the South China Sea. Tibiao River is the source of water  irragation in the mountains and lowland areas.Most of the people in the municipality are farming and fishing as their source of livelihood.

SECO ISLAND

                      





Seco island is kinaray-a word "elbow" because of its shape. The another island paradise in the province of Antique.It is a 1.5m beach covered with fine white sand and bluish sea water that is away from the shore of Tibiao and could reached by boat for around 2.5 hours. Seco Island is a perfect destination for beach outing, treking the island and also is the best island for skateboarding. This  island is preserve and  protective for marine diversity.

My Blog is all about the tourist spot in Tibiao. We have so many different tourist spot in  our town like, Bugtong Bato Falls an ideal places for communicating the nature having a life experience.  Tibiao river rushes from the slope of  Mt. Madjaas highest peak in Panay Island. The river form cascades ideal for white water KAYAKING. Seco Island it is ideal for fishing, snorkelling and scuba diving. The hanging bridge located at Brgy. Tigbaboy stretching 80 meters suspended across Tibiao River. 

The Bandoja Pottery making is located at Brgy. Bandoja the local make use it as livelihood. You can make a different shape,sizes of jars, cooking materials, flower pots and many more.

Tibiao Eco Adventure park offer a different adventure thrills like zipline, canyoneering, white water kayaking. kawa hot bath and massage therapy. Tibiao Fish Spa offers therapy reflexology and massage. It is relaxing and you can enjoy with your family and friends.My purpose for blogging is i want to share to the other people  our tourist spot in tibiao and to promote our tourism industry and to become popularized tibiao what it is.
